What is the truth if truth could be? Just the moment we can see And when we want the truth to find It’s lost in Labyrinths of minds The truth is naked you can see Static with us in eternity The moment of truth is only now It will eternally move with us somehow Look within observe your mind Have you been cruel, have you been kind? Has negative forces clouded your dream? Clear your mind make it clean. What is love if love could be? Pure and soulful mind is free. When all but purity remain True is the love that we gain How do I get my final goal? Who will lead with me my soul? But all alone I must walk No one to see no one to talk If the world will do me wrong? Should I fight and stand up strong? Should I be gentle and be kind Change the person change the mind I am the master of my actions Love and hate my own attractions Mental actions speaks to me A balanced mind will set you free We can not live in the past The future is beyond our grasp Focus on the here and now And all will make sense some how Breathing our only reality Future never your finality Balance is what we strive to find This you find in the positive mind To change the nature of my mind? And not be cruel but only kind Should I plunge and take the leap? Should I search my heart so deep? My shameful truth I need to find The road where body meets the mind In the soul I need to peek For in that moment the truth I seek Deep in body deep in mind Dare the truth and you shall find Impermanence the ‘I’ in me Experience will make me see And when my body and mind is free My eyes will close but I will see That when I lose, from heart I say I am happy I am OK Deep within one self you’ll find Experience true wisdom both combined But living in this world so wrong We can’t just walk and sing the song We have to live, we have to see Experience true life in you and me For we live in a world so cruel That survival is the only rule So when you think before you say You save someone a dreadful day When you breathe before you speak You might empower the ill and weak But for lessons in this life we learn That for freedom we will always yearn The question is to do it right Try to do without the fight Deirdre Erasmus This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
