‘Darwin Was Right,’ Says the Anglican Church
The Church of England dismissed Galileo's astronomy back in the day. They did it again in the 1860s with Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection. The Reverend Malcolm Brown (head of public affairs) issued an apology to mark Darwin's bicentenary and the 150th anniversary of The Origin Of Species.
